Download win_nuts.exe This is a password-protected self-extracting zip file. Just run the file, specify the directory into which Nuts should be installed and supply the password. Users under support should contact Acorn NMR for the password.
If you have followed the instructions you received with your license file, and everything worked as it should, you should see your name in the "Licensed to:" field on the initial screen when you start NUTS. If not, see Troubleshooting Installation.
This will not automatically create an icon or an entry from the Start button. Updated 3/28/08.
This version contains updated Help files as HTML Help. The file hhupd.exe must be run, but only one time. Win2K or XP users don't need to do this, the required files are already installed. If this was done in the course of an earlier Nuts installation, it does not need to be run again. WinNT users - you must have Administrator privilege to install the HTML Help "engine". Note that you must have a recent version of Internet Explorer on your computer to use html help. See details.
Alternately, the older style WinHelp can be used. This uses 2 files different files (nuts.hlp and nuts.cnt), which are updated less frequently. You must then edit the nuts.ini file to make this the default Help file, by changing the line HTMLHELP= to FALSE. Note that this Help file is not current, so users should check the website, http://www.acornnmr.com/NutsHelp
