Wright's Lake in the Sierra, near Strawberry Lodge, just below Lake Tahoe.
There is a horse camp there with water and pit toilets. Mostly it is good for riding. While we were there, we found an old logging road that would be good for driving. It dead ends at the landing site where it would be a nice spot for a picnic lunch. About 45 min to 1 hr drive one way. If anyone does any camping with their equines, this would be a nice place to go and it needs some equine use as it looks like they use it for over flow when the people camp ground is full. There is also swimming, non motorized boating and fishing available there too.
