Explanation:
A perfect score would be 100 pts.
The turnout has a possible 60 pts.
On the Country Drive (XC), zero penalties means the competitor came in within the allowed time and successfully completed all 3 "tests" en route. Being over or under time earns 5 penalties, being more than 25% over or under time gets you 10 penalties. 2 penalties are assessed for failing to complete one of the tests. See map, etc, below the score tables.
In cones, each ball down is 1 penalty. Being over time is 5 penalties. Going off course is 10 penalties.
For the competitors going HC, no turnout score was reported, so there is no total and no placing.
In addition to the final scores below, there were the following special awards:
Best turnout with a traditional vehicle: Kathy Freeman
Best turnout with a modern vehicle: Hale Allen (he and Moire Creek have the same score; the tie was broken using the score for overall impression)
Best Hat: Shelley Chavoor
Drawing from the mailbox: Gina Miner Each competitor picked up an envelope containing a playing card from a mailbox on course. The highest card won.
