Driven Dressage Workshop

This time YOU get to do the scoring!

Get an insight on what the judge is looking for when scoring a test. We start the day with 8 demonstration tests. Participants will pair off into judge/scribe teams and take turns judging and scribing the tests. There will be a variety of equines exhibited, everything from a mini through ponies and horses to a draft. Our clinician Jane Anne Merritt will also be judging and the tests will be video taped. Then we will move to the classroom where the videos will be shown and you and Jane Anne can compare scores and discuss what the judge was looking for and how the specific scores were arrived at. Learn what different things are expected from different turnouts.

This is a low key, fun learning day. No one will be expected to publicly reveal or explain their judging decisions, though comments and discussion are welcome and encouraged.

Note: This is an "un-mounted" event - people only, no horses other than those doing the demonstrations.  Please pre-register so we know how many participants to expect.
